Dr. Charlotte Pennington is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas and specializes in conducting comprehensive and individualized neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Common referral questions are related to learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), giftedness, test and college accommodations, intellectual disabilities, learning styles, brain injuries, and psychological problems. Additionally, she provides assessments to clarify diagnoses such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. Dr. Pennington operates from a strengths-based model and provides individualized, specific, and practical recommendations for each client.
Dr. Pennington earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Sam Houston State University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Travis County Juvenile Probation Department and her postdoctoral fellowship at Travis County Community Justice Services. She has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings and completed her education and predoctoral internship from American Psychological Association (APA) accredited programs.
